Angelo (Pál Funk, 1894-1974)
Photographer, cinematographer. His photographic works are shown in Hungarian and international exhibitions from 1920, and he receives more than one hundred awards and certificates. He is made a member of the Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain in 1926. He also works in film, working as assistant cinematographer alongside Mihály Kertész, among others, as well as participating in the work of the first Hungarian sound film. He holds many lectures on modern photography, between 1927–1937, many of his studies and essays are published in Fotóművészeti Hírek [Photographic Arts News], and between 1934–1938 he is an editor of the periodical Magyar Fotográfia [Hungarian Photography]. His photos are also published in several international magazines. In 1956, he is a founding member of the Association of Hungarian Photographers.
